This required consistent completion of mandatory training and self-audit evaluations across multiple roles, all while managing tight deadlines, data mismatches, and varying levels of provider engagement.
  • Action: I led the initiative by designing and launching SmarterU training programs tailored to provider requirements, building a real-time Excel tracking system to consolidate completions, flag errors, and monitor progress, and partnering with clinical, operations, and people teams to align workflows and ensure accountability. To further support providers, I created clear guides, templates, and communications that simplified complex requirements and drove compliance.
  • Result: The initiative achieved over 90% provider compliance with required trainings and evaluations, strengthened organizational readiness for TJC Accreditation, and embedded compliance into both onboarding and ongoing training. These efforts laid the groundwork for a sustainable culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Provider Onboarding & Integration
  • Challenge: As Iris Telehealth continued to scale, new providers were joining the organization quickly and needed consistent, high-quality onboarding to deliver excellent patient care from day one. The existing onboarding process was fragmented across multiple departments, leading to inconsistent experiences, duplicated efforts, and gaps in training resources.
  • Action: I partnered with cross-functional teams to design and implement a centralized Provider Onboarding program in SmarterU. This included creating structured learning paths, embedding compliance and clinical trainings, and integrating role-specific resources for providers. I collaborated with leaders from Clinical, Operations, and People teams to align content, ensure accuracy, and create knowledge checks that reinforced learning. Additionally, I streamlined communication and feedback loops, building a foundation for continuous improvement of the onboarding experience.
  • Result: The new onboarding program provided providers with a seamless, standardized learning journey, improving clarity, consistency, and readiness for patient care. Early outcomes showed higher provider engagement with training, faster integration into clinical workflows, and reduced administrative lift for department leaders. The initiative not only enhanced provider experience but also strengthened retention and operational efficiency by ensuring every provider started with the same foundation of knowledge and expectations.
